Note from the Artist
"When I was working on the idea for this piece I was almost instantly enthralled by just the name ‘Floralia’. Nearly right away I already saw an explosion of green, springy flowers and wild growth bursting into bloom in the only way plants do in our rugged Midwest winter-thaws. Taking historical context from the actual ancient Roman holiday where an annual festival was held in honor of the Goddess Flora, to herald a bountiful Spring. This was a ton of fun to make and I’m excited to reveal this is the 1st piece of 4 we will be making with @siriusroasters this year!”
